HomeMy WebLinkAbout1990 ORDINANCE 1990 AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE AMOUNT OF MONEY NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY TUATION UPON THE TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS REVENUE TO CARRY ON THE VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS OF SAID CITY FOR THE CURRENT YEAR, AND TO PAY THE BONDED AND OTHER INDEBTEDNESS OF SAID CITY. THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE: That the amount of money necessary to be raised by taxation upon the taxable property within the corporate limits of the City of San Bernardino, as a revenue to carryon the various departments of said City for the current year, beginning July 1st, 1953 and ending June 30th, 1954, and to pay the bonded indebtedness and other indebtedness of said City, is hereby determined and fixed at the aggregate sum of $ ilJ..~6 :384.D7 apportioned among the various funds and departments of said City as follows, to-wit:. (1) To the General Fund, the sum of $ (2) To the Street Fund, the sum of $ (3) To the Library Fund, the sum of $ (4) To the Park Improvement Fund, the sum of $ (5) To the Employees' Retirement Fund, the sum~f $ (6) To the Public Hall Bond Fund, the sum of $ (7) To the Outfall Sewer Bond Fund, the sum of $ 66 ,.732 ~13 1~7'2.~5'.ao . . 127, 461.:1-3 300,945.77 , i..' ., .165,06i:f.59 6.955.:58 26.113.27 SECTION TWO: It is hereby found and declared that this is an Ordinance for the immediate preservation of the puplic peace, health and safety of said City and the inhabitants thereof, and that this is an emergency measure, it being an Ordinance provided by and adopted pursuant to Section 131 of the Charter of said City, and by an act of the Legislature of the State of California, approved March 27th, 1895, and referred to in said Section by its title, by the provisions of which Act this Ordinance must take effect before the third Monday in August, 1953. in order to levy any valid tax for municipal purposes, without which Ordinance and . . 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 115 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 215 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 I!II . :-'~(j 1 tax there will be insufficient revenues or funds on hand to defray 2 the expenses of said City. 3 4. 15 SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall be published for three consecutive days in the San Bernardino Evening Telegram, a daily newspaper hereby designated for that purpose, and shall take effect immediately after its passage and approval.
