THE HAYOR AND CONMON COUNCIL OF TlB CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO 00 ORDAn~ AS ro LLC:IVlS: SECTION ONE: PARKING Tll-IE LINITED IN CERTAIN PLACES. That Section One of Article IV of said Ordinance No. 1652, is hereby amended to read as follows: "Whenever the Coun~il by resolution has declared that public convenience and necessity require that any street, alley, or part of a street or alley, or other property owned by the City of San Bernardino shall be limited as to time and/or purpose of parking thereon, the Chief of Police shall cause signs to be placed and maintained on said street, alley or other City property, indicating such limitations as may be provided in said resolu- tion, and thereafter it shall be unlawful for the driver of any vehicle to park said vehicle on any such street, alley or other City property, for a time longer or for a purpose other than is indicated on said sign." SECTION 1"1'10: PARKING PROHIBITED AT ANY TIME. Section Two of Article IV of Ordinance No. 1652 is hereby amended to read as follows: "Whenever the City Council shall by resolution determine that the stopping, standing or parking of any vehicle upon any street, alley, or part of a street or alley, or other property owned by the City of San Bernardino, will create a traffic hazard or tend to create traffic congestion, the Chief of Police shall indicate such place or places by appropriate signs or cause the Superintendent of Streets to place and maintain red paint upon the entire C1Tb surface 0.: Luch street, alley, or part of a street or alley, and it shall thereafter be unlawful for the driver of any vehicle to park said vehicle on an;y such street, alley, or part of a street or alley, or other City property."
