G . . r ORDH1ANCE 0(6/j'.;j 1 AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE RATES OF TAXES FOR THE CURRE~!T YEAR UPON ALL TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO, 2 IN ORDER TO PROVIDE A REVENUE TO C./ffiRY ON THE VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS OF SAID CITY, AND TO PAY TEIE BONDED lIND OTPER nmEBTEDNESS THEREOF. 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DO ORDAIN AS F~LLOWS: SECTION ONE: That there is hereby levied for the present fiscal year, beginning July 1, 1951+, and ending June 30, 1955, on all property wi thtn the corpora.te 11mi ts of the City of San Bernardino, a property tax of $ 1.35 upon eEl.ch one hundred dollars using as a basis the value of such property as assessed by the County Assessor of the County of San Bernardino, as the same may be equalized, and returned as herein provided, and the tax so levied and to be collected is hereby appropriated as follows: General Fund $ .?1 '13 Street Fund $ .5"9'1 Library Fund $ .1749 , Park Improvement Fund $ .3914 SECTION TWO: Thet there is also hereby levied for said 18 fiscal year upon all property within the corporete limits of the 191 City of San Bernardino a special tax of $.2?67 on each one 20 hU!ldred dollars, using as a basis the value of such property as assessed by the County Assessor of the County of San Bernardino, as the same may be equalized, and returned as herein provided, . which tax so levied, and to be collected, shall be epplied to the payment of the obligations of the City of San Bernardino to the I 26 25 . SECTION THREE: That tb~re is also hereby levied for 27 'said fiscal year upon all property within the corporate limits of 28 29 the City of San "Bernardino a special tax of $ .009lJ. on each one hundred dollars, using as a basis the value of such property as I: ! as , 30 , assessed by the County Assessor of the County of San Bernardino, 31 32 ~ . . ~ 1 the same may be equalized, and returned as herein provided, Which 2 tax so levied, and to be collected, shall be applied to the pay- 3 ment of the principal and interest on the Public Hall Bonds due 4 and to become due, or to accrue during said fiscal year. 5 SECTION FOUR: That there is also herety levied for said 6 fiscal year upon all property within the corporate limits of the 7 City of San Bernardino, a special tax of $ .0354 on each one 8 hundred dollars, using as a basis the value of such property as 9 assessed by the County Assessor of the County of San Bernardino, 10 as the same may be equalized, and returned as herein provided, 11 which tax so levied, and to be collected, shall be applied to 12 the payment of the principal and interest on the Outfell Sewer 13 Bonds due or to become due, or to accrue during said fiscal year. 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 SECTION FIVE: The taxes and special assessment tax hereby I levied shall be collected at the same time and in the same manner I as State and County taxes, and when collected, shall be paid to , , the Treasurer of the City of San Bernardino. SECTION SIX: The respective amounts hereinbefore designate as being the amount of taxes levied on each one hundred dollars of the assessed valuation of the property hereinbefore referred to are hereby fixed as the respective rates of the tax for said fis cal ye ar for the purposes hereinbefore designated, which said rates are fixed and designated in the number of cents upon each one hundred dollars, using ss a basis the value of said property as assessed by the County Assessor of the County of San Bernardino, as the same may be equalized and returned to said Common Council by the County Auditor of seid County, as required by Section 3 of the Acts of the Legislature hereinafter referred to. 281 29 II 30 I immediately transmit to the County Auditor of the County of San 31 I Bernardino a certified copy of this Ordinance.
