WHEREAS, heretofore a petition was filed with the Conwon Council of the City of San Bernardino requesting that certain uninhabited territory contiguous to said Qity be annexed to the City of San Bernardino and which said petition described said territory and the boundaries thereof proposed to be annexed to the City; and WHEREAS, said petition was filed by the owners of not less than,' one-fourth of the area of land in such territory and representing not less than one-fourth of the assessed value of such territory according to the last preceding equalized assessment roll of the County of San Bernardino, in which said County the City of San Bernardino is situated; and WHEREAS, the said petition requested :the said territory to be annexed to and included in the said municipal corporation, in accordanc e with the provisions of the Government Code, Section 35300, et seq., and vlHEREAS, all and each of the owners of all of the aforesaid real pro,.. i ' ':,'" I' perty and of each and every parcel contained therein have cons'ented in writing and filed with the City Clerk of the City of San Bernardino, who acts as Clerk ' for said Common Council, their consent and agreement that all of the property included in the aforesaid territory shall be taxed equally ~dth the other pro-, ' perty within the said City to pay the bonded indebtedness and any and all general indebtedness and liability of the City of San Bernardino contracted prior to or following or outstanding at the time the aforesaid petition ot the, annexation was filed and subsequent thereto, asproiridedin said Government. "c..... approve at this time the annexation of the aforesaid territory, NOVI, THEIlli'FORB, THE COl-1l>ION COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BE~JJIDINO'JXlES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE: That said territory as herein described as Annexation District No. 75 is hereby annexed and incorporated. in and made a part of tlril City of San Bernardino. SECTION TWO: . The territory herein referred to as being annexed to the City of San Bernardino is particularly described as follows, to wit: . Being a portion of Sections 5 and 6, Township CPe North, Range .Four West, san Bernardino Meridian, described. as fo11Oli1s: BEGINNING at a point on the present corporate limits of the City of San Bernardino, as per description of Annexation District N'0.20 of said City, said point being Station No. M-26 on, the Northerly line of Mil.scupiabe Railcoo, as said line is soownon the Official United States To~ship Plat of said Township. CPe North, Range Four West, liS surveyed by George H. Perrin, am.' approved June 24, 1898; thence South 390 30' East, 600.90 feet; thence South 00 251 East, 1151.44 feet; thence No~ 390301 west, 600.90 feet, more or less, to II point. on the present. corporate limits line of said City; thence North 00 2,5'West, 1151.44 feet, more or less, along said corporate limits line to the point of beginning.
