1 A.N ORDINANCE FIXING THE AMOUNT OF MONEY NECESSARY TO BE
RAISED BY TAXATION UPON THE TAXABLE PROPERTY VITTHIN THE CITY OF
2 SAN BERNARDINO AS REVENUE TO CARRY ON THE VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS OF
SAID CITY FOR 1'rlB CURRENT YEAR, AND TO PA.Y THE BONDED AND OTHER
3 IND8BTEDNESS OF SAID CITY.

THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
5 DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION ONE: That the amount of money necessary to be
7 raised by taxation upon the taxable property within the corporate
8 limits of the City of San Bernardino, as a revenue to carryon
9 the various departments of said City for the current year,
10 beginning July 1st, 1955 and ending June 30th, 1956, and to pay
11 the bonded indebtedness and other indebtedness of said City, is
12 hereby determined and fixed at the aggregate sum of 11.235,563.47
13 apportioned among the various funds and departments of said City
14 as follows, to-wit:

To the General Fund, the sum of $ 30,853.92

To the Street Fund, the sum of $531,122.01
To the Library Fund, the sum of $136.933.13
To the park Improvement Fund, the sum of $308.990.13
To the Employees' Retirement Fund, the sum of $197.392.07
To the Public Hall Bond Fund, the StOO of $ 6.353.53
To the Outfall Sewer Bond Fund, the sum of ~ 23.918.67
SECTION TWO: It is hereby found and declared that this
23 is an Ordinance for the immediate preservation of the public peace,
24 health and safety of said City and the inhabitants thereof, and
25 that this is an emergency measure, it being an Ordinance provided
26 by and adopted pursuant to Section 131 of the Charter of said
27 City, and by an act of the Legislature of the State of California,
28 approved March 27th, 1895, and referred to in said Section by its
29 title, by the provisions of which Act this Ordinance must take

3 I SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall be published for
4 I three consecutive days in the San Bernardino Evening Telegram,

5 ia daily newspaper hereby designated for that purpose, and shall
6 take effect immediately after its passage and approval.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the whole number of members of

the Common Council of the City of San Bernardino is five, and. ~.
