NHEREAS, heretofore a petition was filed with the Common Council of the City of San Bernardino r8qQesting that certain uninhabited territory contiguous to s~ City be annexed to the City of San Bernardino and which said petition desw cribed said territory and the boundaries thereof proposed to be annexed to the City; and 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 WHEREAS, said petition was filed by the owners of not less than one- fourth of the area of land insucb territory and representing not less than one- 11 fourth of the assessedvalne of .uchter~itory according to the last preceding I 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 equalized assessment roll of the County of San Bernardino, in which said County the City of San Bernardino is situated; and' WHEREAS, the said petition requested the said territory to be annexed .,. ',- .., ....' to and included in the said municipal :~orporation, in accordance with the provi- siOns of the Govern..~t Code, Section 35300, et seq., and lftIEREAS, on the 17th day of Decellber, 1956, a Resolution was adopted by I the aforesaid Co.-on Council of the City of San Bernardino, California, proposing the annexation of the aforesaid uninhabited territory to be generally known as the ANNEIArION DISTRICl' NO. 103 to the City of San Bernardino, and that said Resolu- tion provided therein that tbe proposed annexation sbould be generally known and identified as the ANNEXATION DISTRICl' NO. 103; and WHEREAS, said Resolution set forth therein tbat all the property in- cluded in the aforesaid territory should be taxed equally with the other property witbin the said City to pay the bonded indebtedness and any and all general in- debtedness and liability of tbe City of San Bernardino, contracted prior to or existing or outstanding at tbe time of tbe aforesaid proposed annexation of the a- foresaid property, as provided in tbe hereinbefore mentioned Govern~nt Code; and , WHEREAS, the said Resolution did fix, determine and declare that a bear- ing be 'held on the 4th day of February, 1957, at the hour of 7:30 o.cloct P.K., in the Council Chambers of tbe City Hall, in the City of San Bernardino, and tbe same I , I was tbe day, bour and place designated where any person owning real estate within 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 .
