Home My WebLink About2359 . ,/ . -..., -;C 1 ORDINANCE NO., -0';>7 ~ . 2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO, Al'PROVING THE ANNEXATION OF DISTRICT NO. 134. 3 4 WHEREAS, heretofore, a petition was filed with the Common Council of 5 6 the City of San ,Bernardino requesting that certain uninhabited territory contiguous to said City be annexed to the City of San Bernardino, and which 7 said petition described said t~q:itory and the boundaries thereof proposed to 8 be annexed to the City; and 9 WHEREAS, said petition was filed by the owners of not less than one- 10 fourth of the area of'land in such territory and representing not less ~han 11 one-fourth of the asse$sed value of s~ch territory according to the last precedin 12 equalized assessment roll ,of the county ,of San Bernardino, in which said County 13 the City of San Bernardino is s'ituate,cl;, and WHEREAS, said peti~ion'reqoeSted the said territory to be annexed to 14 15 and included i~ the said ~ni~ipal corpo~ation in.ccordance with the provisions of the Government Code, Section 35300, et seq.; and 16 17 WHEREAS, on the 10th day of April, 1961, a resolution was adopted by 18 the aforesaid CODDBOn Council of the City of San Bernardino, California, pr<>- 19 posing the annexation of the aforesaid uninhabited territory, to be generally 20 known as ANNEXATION DISTRICT NO, 134, to the City of San Bernardino, and that 21 said resolution provided therein that the proposed annexation should be generally 22 known and identified as ANNEXATION DISTRlCT NO. 134; and 23 WHEREAS, said resolution set forth therein that all the property 24 included in the aforesaid territory should. be taxed equally with tbe other pro,- 2S 26 perty within the said City to pay the bonded indebtedness, and, any ;lpd,all general indebtedness and liability of the City of ,San Bernardino, contracteciprior to 27 0, existing or outstanding at the time of the aforesaid proposed annexation of 28 the aforesaid property as provided in the, hereinbefore mentioned Gover~ent 29 Code; and 30 WHEREAS, sai!! tesoluti<>n did fix, deterniipeand QEic1sre tl:1at !il:1earing 31 be held on ,the 15th day of May, 1961, at the hour of 9J30 o'd6ck A. l'!. in the Council Chambers of the Gity Hall ill the.
