2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMINDING
ORDINANCE N0. 1987 ENTITLED IN PART "AN ORDINANCE REGULP,TING
3 THE OPERATION OF TAXICABS ."; AND EXCEPTING ANY TAXICAB
LAWFULLY TRANSPORTING A PASSINGER FROM NORTON AIR FORGE BASE
4 DIRECTLY AND NONSTOP TO A DESTINATION WITHIN OR WITHOUT THE
5I BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY FROM THE PERMIT REQUIREMENTS THEREOF.
THE MAYOR AND. .COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
6 DO ORDAIN AS FOIJAWS:
7 SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 1987 Section Two is hereby
8 amended by adding thereto Subsection (j) to read as follows:
9 "(j) Any taxicab which is lawfully transporting a
10 passenger from Norton Air Force Base, San Bernardino, California, I
11 directly and nonstop to a destination within or without the
12 boundaries of the City is excepted; provided that any driver of
13 ~
said taxicab who drives on a City street or to a destination ~
~ 14 within the boundaries of the City from said Base shall comply
15 with each provision of this ordinance and each rule or regulation
16 of the Bureau relating to the driver of a taxicab, his operations
17
of a taxicab, a driverIIS permit therefor or any matter relating
18 thereto." j
