2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERIVARDINO AMENDING ORDI-
NANCE NO. 2900 ENTITLED IN PART "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING
3I THE INSTALLATION AND OPERATION OF MOTION PICTURE AND ELECTRICAL
EQUIPMENT; ESTABLISHING INSPECTION STANDARDS FOR THEATERS, ";
¢ AND PROHIBITING HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS IN THEATERS.
5 THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 2900 Section Fifteen is hereby

amended to read as follows:

"SECTION FIFTEEN: Projection Rooms and Booths. No unauthoriz-
9
ed person shall be allowed inside any motion picture machine booth
10
when same is being used for the projection of motion pictures.

The requirements for projection rooms shall be those require-
12
ments which are enumerated in the latest edition of the Uniform
13
Building Code as adopted and amended by the City of San Bernardino.'

15 SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 2900 Section Sixteen is hereby
l6 amended to read as follows:
17 "SECTION SIXTEEN: Hazardous Conditions. It shall be unlaw-
lg ful to admit or to allow the admission of the public to a theater
19 after receiving notice or knowledge of the existence of any hazard-
2pi ous condition within the theater which is injurious to the public
21 health, safety or welfare. Such hazardous conditions may include,
22 but are not limited to, loose or improperly attached fixtures, un-
23 sanitary conditions, damaged or defective seats, defects in or
24 damage to the floor, floor covering or carpeting, obstructions in
26 aisles, and insufficient illumination or inoperative light bulbs."
26 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was duly
27 adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernar-
28 dino at ~~' meeting thereof, held on
