2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING ORDI-
NANCE NO. 2397 ENTITLED IN PART "AN ORDINANCE CREATING
3 THE POSITION OF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER AND PROVIDING FOR
THE DISCHARGE OF SAID OFFICER BY A VOTE OF FIVE-SEVENTHS OF THE
4 COMMON COUNCIL.
5 THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 2397 Section Three is hereby
7
amended to read as follows:

"SECTION THREE: The Administrative Officer shall be ap-
9
pointed by and serve at the pleasure of the Mayor and Common
~I 10
~ Council. He may be discharged by a vote of five-sevenths of the
11
Common Council and his appointment terminated upon written notice
12
to him of such discharge and termination. The Administrative
13
Officer shall give the Mayor and Common Council not less than
14
thirty days' written notice of his intent to resign."

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was duly

adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Ber-
17
