OF SAN BERNARDINO FIXING THE AMOUNT OF MONEY NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION UPON THE TAXABLE PRO- 3 PERTY WITHIN SAID CITY AS REVENUE TO CARRY ON THE VARIOUS DEPART- MENTS OF THE. CITY FOR THE CURRENT YEAR, AND TO PAY THE BONDED. AND 4 OTHER INDEBTEDNESS OF THE. CITY. 5 THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: 6 SECTION 1. The amount of money necessary to be raised by 7 taxation upon the taxable property within the corporate limits of 8 the. City of San Bernardino, as revenue to. carry on the. various 9 departments of said City for the current year beginning July 1st, 10 1972, and ending June 30th, 1973; and to pay the bonded indebted- 11 ness and other indebtedness of said City is hereby determined and 12 fixed at the aggregate sum of $3,874,.765.00. apportioned among the 13 various funds and departments. of said City as follows, to wit: 14 (1) To the General Fund, the sum of $ 431,291.00 15 (2) To the Street Fund, the sum of $ 318,641.00. 16 (3 To the Library Fund, the sum of $ 444,126.00 17 (4) To the Park and Recreation Fund, 18 the sum of $1,368,517.00' 19 (5) To the Public Park Extension Fund, the. sum of $ 110,43T.00' 20 (6) To the Employees' Retirement Fund, 21 the sum of $1,088,539.00 22 (7) To the Library Bond Fund, the sum of $ 35,776.00 23 ($J To the Fire System Bond, 1962 24 Interest and Redemption Fund, the sum of $ 77,444x00 25 SECTION 2. It is hereby found and declared that this is 26 an ordinance .for the immediate preservation of the public peace, 27 health, safety and welfare of said City and the inhabitants there- 28 of, and that :this is an emergency measure, it being an ordinance 29 adapted pursuant to Section 131 of the. Charter of said City, and 30 by an Act of the Legislature of the. State of California, Statutes 31 of 1913, and subsequent amendments, and Government Code Title 5, 32 Division 1, Part 2, Chapter 2, Article 2, by the provisions of I' i l which Act this ordinance must take. effect before the first day i 2. of September, 1972 in order to levy any valid tax for municipal 3, purposes, without which ordinance and taxes there will be in- 4 sufficient revenues or funds on hand to defray the expense of 5 said City. 6 SECTION 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately 7 after its passage and approval. 8 I HEREBY CERTIFY that he foregoing ordinance was duly 9 adopted by the Mayor and CommoDDnCouncil of the City of San Ber- 10 nardino at acv u[/? meeting thereof held on the. 11 day of 1972, by the following 12 vote, to wit: 13 AYES: Councilmen~~~~~~ ~ti, g~u.,~~ ~ J 14 -ttc~lE-..-ems 15 NAYS: 16 ABSENT : L..e-c.yi~t t~µ~,A~, J 17 .
