ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 2105 ENTITLED IN PART "AN ORDINANCE . . . PROVIDING FOR PRIMA
FACIE SPEED LIMITS UPON CERTAIN OF SAID STREETS AND HIGHWAYS."
THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 2105 Section Two which provides
7 for prima facie speed limits upon certain streets and highways
8 is hereby amended to read as follows:

"SECTION TWO: In accordance with and pursuant to the
authority of Sections 22357,.. 22358, 22360 and 22413 of the
California Vehicle Code, the Mayor and Common Council do hereby
determine and declare, upon the basis of an engineering and
traffic investigation, that ,a prima facie speed limit of 35 miles
per hour shall be established on the following streets or portion
thereof in the City of San Bernardino:
ARROWHEAD AVENUE: Between Esperanza: Street and Rialto
17 Avenue; between Seventh Street and Thompson Place.

BASE LINE STRE.ET: Between Muscott Street and "H" Street.
"D" STREET: Between Sixth Street and Marshall Boulevard.
"E" STREET: Between Benedict Street and Rialto Avenue,
21 between Tenth Street and Highland Avenue.

EUCALYPTUS AVENUE: Between Mill Street and Rialto Avenue.
FIFTH STREET: Between Waterman Avenue and Sierra Way.
FORTIETH STREET: Between Mountain Avenue and Acre Lane.
"G" STREET: Between Mill Street and Rialto Avenue; be-
26 tween Sixth Street and Marshall Boulevard.

GILBERT STREET: Between Waterman Avenue and a point 207

MACY STREET: Between Highland Avenue and the north City
limit.
MILL STREET: Between Mt. Vernon Avenue and Waterman
Avenue.
MT. VERNON AVENUE: Between Grant Street and Rialto Avenue;
between Seventh Street and Marshall Boulevard.
MT. VIEW AVENUE: Between Victoria Street and Lupin Lane.
MUSCOTT STREET: Between Base Line Street and Highland
Avenue.
NINTH STREET: Between Sierra Way and Waterman Avenue; be-
tween Muscott Street and "H" Street.
PERRIS HILL PARK ROAD: Between Pacific Street and Twenty-
first Street.
RIALTO AVENUE:
SECOND STREET:
Between Muscott Street and Waterman Avenue.
Between Waterman Avenue and Arrowhead
Avenue.
SIERRA WAY: Between Mill Street and Rialto Avenue; be-
tween Fifth Street and Thirtieth Street.
THIRD STREET: Between Waterman Avenue and Sierra Way.
TWENTY-FIRST STREET: Between Waterman Avenue and Perris
Hill Park Road.
TWENTY-SEVENTH STREET: Between "G" Street and Mt. Vernon
Avenue.

1 VALENCIA AVENUE: Between Twenty-first Street and Fortieth

3 WATERMAN AVENUE: Between 2100 feet north of Mill Street
4 and Fortieth Street; between Rialto Avenue and a point 300 feet
5 south of Central Avenue. between Rialto Avenue and Highland Ave-
6 nue; between Thirtieth street and Fortieth Street."
7 SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 2105 Section Two and One-half
8 which provides for prima facie speed limits upon certain streets
9 and highways is hereby amended to read as follows:
10 "SECTION TWO AND ONE-HALF: In accordance with and pur-
11 suant to the authority of Sections 22357, 22358, 22360 and 22413
12 of the California Vehicle Code, the Mayor and Common Council do
13 hereby determine and declare, upon the basis of an engineering
14 and traffic investigation, that the prima facie speed limit of
15 40 miles per hour shall be established on the following streets
16 or portions thereof in the City of San Bernardino:
17 BASE LINE STREET: Between a point 360 feet westerly of
18 Pennsylvania Avenue and Muscott Street.
19 COLTON AVENUE: From a point approximately 1575 feet south
20 westerly of "I" Street to Mill Street.
21 DAVID WAY: Between Fortieth Street and a point 1765 feet
22 northerly.
23 DEL ROSA AVENUE: Between Highland Avenue and a point 730
24 feet northerly; between Marshall Boulevard and Eureka Street; be-
25 tween Foothill Boulevard and Bonita Vista Drive.
26 DEVILS CANYON ROAD: Between the north line of Devils
27 Canyon Park and a point 2000 feet southerly.
28 "E" STREET: Between Century Avenue and Benedict Street.

PEPPER AVENUE: Between Pacific Electric Railroad and the
north City Limit.

SECTION 3. Ordinance No. 2105 Section Three which pro-
vides for prima facie speed limits upon certain streets and high-
ways is hereby amended to read as follows:

FOURTH STREET: Between Tia Juana Street and Mt. Vernon
Avenue.
MILL STREET: Between a point approximately 1450 feet west
erly of Tippecanoe Avenue and Tippecanoe Avenue.
NINTH STREET: Between Waterman AVenue and a point approxi
mately 600 feet easterly of Preston Street.
RIALTO AVENUE: Between Eucalyptus Avenue and Muscott
Street.

SECTION 4. Ordinance No. 2105 is hereby amended by adding
6 Section Three and One-half to read as follows:

"SECTION THREE AND ONE-HALF: In accordance with and pur-

suant to the authority of Sections 22357 ,. 22358, 22360 and 22413 .
of the California Vehicle Code, the Mayor and Common Council do
hereby determine and declare, upon the basis of an engineering
and traffic investigation, that a prima facie speed limit of 50
miles per hour shall be established upon the following streets,
or portions thereof, in the City of San Bernardino.
WATERMAN AVENUE: Between Barton Road and a point 300 feet
south of Central Avenue."
