ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 1698 ENTITLED IN PART "AN ORDINANCE DEFINING GARBAGE AND
RUBBISH. .. "; AND REQUIRING THAT NEWSPAPERS BE SEPARATED
FROM O~HER RUBBISH AND GARBAGE AND PLACED FOR COLLECTION IN
APPROVED CONTAINERS OR TIED SECURELY IN BUNDLES NOT EXCEEDING
50 POUNDS IN WEIGHT.

THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 1698 Section Eight Subsection J
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"J. Notwithstanding any rules and regulations made by
the Superintendent pursuant to this paragraph (J), discarded
newspapers placed for collection, and not used for wrapping

garbage or similar purposes, shall be separated from all other
13
garbage and rubbish and placed for collection in approved con-
14
15
tainers or securely tied bundles not exceeding fifty (50) pounds
in weight."

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was duly
