REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA THROUGH THE USE OF FEDERAL FUNDS. 2 3 4 5 THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO 00 ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: 6 7 Section 1. Ordinance No. 2158 Section One is hereby amended to read as follows: 8 9 "SECTION ONE: DEFINITIONS. For the purpose of this ordinance the following terms shall be deemed and construed to I have the meanings respectively ascribed to them in this section, unless from the particular context it clearly appears that some other meaning is intended: 1. Sewer main means the system of piping or conduit installed in or under any public street, alley, place or ease- ment for the purpose of collecting sewage. 2. House sewer means that portion of the plumbing system used to collect sewage waste from any plumbing fixture or drain for the proper discharging of such sewage into the sewer lateral. 3. Sewer lateral means the piping or conduit connecting the sewer main and the house sewer. 4. Person means and includes persons, public entities or public agencies, firms, corporations, associations, syndicates, joint ventures, joint stock companies, partnerships, and any other form of business organization." Section 2.
