AlJ ORDINANCE CALLING AND PROVIDING FOR TWO; HOLDING
OF A SPECIAL ELECTION IN 'fHg C1 TY OF SAN BERNARDINO
ON THE 4th DAY OF NOV;~ER, 1930.

6 The Mayor and Common Council of the Ci ty of San
7 Bernardino do ordain as follows:

SECTION ONE: That a special election be held in the
City of Saa,:Bernardino on the 4th day of November, 1930, for the
purpose of submitting to the qualified electors of said City the
following proposed amendments to the Charter of said City, and the
fOllowing proposi tions, to-wi t:.
PROPOSITION NO.1.
Shall Section 24B of said Charter be
amended to read as follows:
.Section 24B. The City Clerk shall receive
an annual salary of ~2400.00 payable monthly."
PROPOSITION NO.2.
Shall Section 24D of said Charter be
amended to read as follows:
"Section 24D. The Pil1ice: Jradge"shall receive
an annual salary of .w2400.00 payable monthly."
SECTION TWO: That the special elec~ion aforesaid be and
the same is hereby consolidated with the General State Election
to be held in the State of California on the said 4th day of
November, 1930.

SBCTION FOUR: That the pollS at such Special Election
4 shall remain open for the time required by law for the holding
5 of said General state Election.

SECTION FIVE: That the City Clerk Shall give netice
7 of such Special Blection by publication in the San Bernardino
8 Daily Sun, a newspapet of.general circulation printed and publishe
9 in said City, as provided by law, and shall provide all necessary
10 ballots, bilot boxes, tally lists, returns and all other necessary
11 supplies for such election, and see that they are properly
12 distributed to each voting booth in the manner provided by law.

SECTION SIX: That the City Clerk shall certify to the
14 passage of this Ordinance, and cause the same to be published in

15 sald San Bernardino Daily Sun in the manner required by law.
