AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 104 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 821 ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE REVISING AND
CODIFYING THE ORDINANCES OF, AND PROVIDING A CODE
OF LAWS FOR THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO", PASSED
AUGUST 8, 1921, AND APPROVED AUGUST 9, 1921.

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
8 ' Bernardino do ordain as follows:
SECTION ONE: That Section 104, of Ordinance Ho. 821,
entitled: "An Ordinance revising and codifying the Ordinances of,
and providing a code of laws for the City of San Bern rdino",
passed August 8, 1921, and approved August 9, 1921, as amended,
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows, to-wit:

"Section 104. Officers of the City of San Bernardino,
before entering upon the discharge of their official duties, and
within twenty days after notice of their election or appointment,
shall execute to said City an official bond in the following
penal sums, to-wit:
Mayor, in the penal sum of $1,000.00;
Member of the Common Council, in the penalsum of
$1,000.00;
City Clerk, in the penal sum of $1,000.00;
City Attorney, in the penal sum of $1,000.00;
Chief of Police, in the penal sum of $5,000.00;
Police Judge, in the penal sum of $1,000._,0;
City Treasurer, in the penal sum of $75,000.00.
The City Treasurer, in addition to his official bond in
the penal sum of $75,000.00, shall execute to said city an additio al
bond in the penal sum of $25,000.00, which additional bond shall
be known as the treasurer's "Trust Fund Bond", and shall be
conditioned for the payment by said treasurer to any person, firm
or corporation lawfully entitled thereto, of all moneys received b

1 said treasurer, his deputies, clerks and attaches, under or
2 pursuant to the provisions of the Improvement Act of 1911, or
3 any other special assessment or other acts, by the provisions
4 of which moneys, other than moneys belonging to said City,
e are payable to the City Treasurer of said City for disbursement
8 to any person, firm or corporation, other than said City, and
7 which "Trust Fund Bond" shall by its provisions be made to
8 enure to the benefit of, and provide that an action may be
9 maintained thereon by, any person, firm or corp ration entitled
10 to receive money from said treasurer under the acts aforesaid.

SECTION TWO: That this ordinance shall take effect
12 and be in force from and after its passage and approvel, and that
13 the City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance, /
14 and c use the same to be published for three consecutive days
15 in the San Bernardino Daily Sun, a daily newspaper hereby
18 designated for that purpose.
