AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO PROVIDING
FOR THE PAYMENT OF JUROR'S FEES FOR ALL JURORS SWORN TO TRY
ALL CASES IN WHICH A JURY TRIAL IS HAD IN THE POLICE COURT OF
THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO.
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernar-
dino do ordain as follows:
SECTION ONE: Each juror sworn to try a case, either
civil or criminal, in the Police Court of the City of San Ber-
nardino, shall be paid a fee of $2.00 per day. Such fee shall
not apply to those individuals who are summoned for jury
service and who do not act as the jurors sworn to try the
case.
SECTION TWO: The jurors' fees herein provided to be
paid, shall, in all criminal cases be a charge against the
City of San Bernardino, and in all civil cases, be paid by
the litigant or party demanding a jury trial, and said jurors'
fees in. civil cases shall be deposited witt! the 'sal'dPolic'e
Court at least five days prior to the date said case has been
s.at for trial, or the jury trial demanded by said party shall
be deemed waived.
SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after thirty days after its passage and ap-
proval.
SECTION FOUR: The City Clerk shall certify to the
passage of this Ordinance, and shall cause the same to be pub-
lished for three consecut;ive days in the SAN BERNARDINO DAILY

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was duly
adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino at a regular meeting thereof held on the ,<:~
day of November, 1932, by the following vote, to-wit:
