HomeMy WebLinkAbout1654NOTICE OF ELECTION ORDINANCE NO. 1654 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO PROVIDING FOR AND CALLING A GENERAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID CITY ON MONDAY, THE 14TH DAY OF APRIL, 1941, AND APPOINTING OFFICERS OF ELECTION AND DESIGNATING THE POLLING PLACES THEREI!'OR. THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNAR- DINO DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE: That a general municipal election is hereb called in the City of San Bernardino, the Cit~ of San Bernardino bchoo1 District and the City of San Bernardino High School Distric , to be held on Monday, April 14, 1941, for the election of the fol- lowing officers, to-wit: 1. A Mayor. 2. A member of ,the Common Council for the First Ward. 3. A member of the Common 'Council for the Second Ward. 4. A member of the Common Council for the Fourth Ward. 5. Three members of the Board of Education, all of whom shall be qualified e1eotors and residents of the City of San Bernardino School Distriot, to be elected for full terms. 6. One member of the Board of Education, who shall be a qualified elector and resident of the City of San Bernardino School District, to be elected for a short term. 7. One member of the Board of Educatio , who shall be a qualified elector and resident of that portion of the City of San Bernardino High School District not ino1uded in the City of San Bernardino School District, to be elected for a full term.
