M., IN, UPON OR AROUND .ANY DRIVE-IN ESTABLISHMENT. THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE: For the purposes ot this Ordinanoe, the words 8Drive-In Establishment8 are defined as follows: A Drive- In Establishment is any plaoe of business whoae principal busi- ness consists at serving refreshments, beverages, foods, or any other oommodity, to patrons, while said patrons are oooupying a vehicle parked or standing in or upon tl\e premises used by said plaoe of business, or in or upon any street, alley, land or grounds immediately adjacent to said premises. SECTION TWO: ~hat it shall be unlawful to oreate, or oause, or permit to be created, or oaused, any musio, noise~or other soun~s,by means ot any phonograph, radio, or other broad- oasting apparatus or devioe, atter 10:00 o'olock P. M. of any day, in, upon or around any premises used or oooupied by a Drive-In Establishment in the City of San Bernardino. SECTION THREE: Any person violating the provisions ot this Ordinanoe shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon oon- viction thereof shall be punished by a fine at not more than $500.00 or by imprisonment in the City or County Jail for a period not exceeding six months, or by both suoh fine and im- prisonment. SECTION FOUR: That this Ordinanoe is hereby deolared to be an urganoy measure and its adoption is neoessary for the immediate preservation of the publio peaoe, health and satety of the oitizens and residents of the said City of San Bernardino, and it is hereby ordained that this Ordinanoe shall take etfect upon its tinal passage and its approval by the Mayor ot said City 1 2 :l .
