be whether such new territory shall be annexed to, incorporated
in, and made a part of sai d munic ipal oorporation, and the
property therein be, after suoh annexation, slwject to taxation

pa.y the hereinafter specified portion of the bonded inde.oted-
ness of such municipal corporation outstanding at the date of
the filing of such petition or theretofore authorized;
NOW, THEREli'CRE, the Mayor and Common Council of the
Ci ty of San Bernardino do 0 rdai n as follows:
SECTION OliJ'E: That the question whether such terri-
tory hereinafter described shall be annexed to, incorporated
in, and made a part of the city of San BerlBrdino, be submit-
ted to the qualified voters of the territory hereinafter de-
scribed, a.t a 5J)ecial election t.obe held for that pUr:Poaet
and that a s:pecil1.1 election be, c,1.nd is hereby' called, and.
will be held in said terri tory hereinafter descri bed, on

residing in the territory hereinafter described and proposed

Ci ty of San Bernardino, the question whether such terri tory
shall be annexed to, incorporated in, and made a part of said

ly. Said bonds are being paid in annual installments of

Bernardino, and the property therein be, after such annexation,
subject to 'taxation equally with the property within such muni-

date of the said annexation. to-wit:

$175,000.00, rate of interest. five per cent per annum, payable
semi-annually. Said bonds are being paid in annual ins tallments
of $5,000.00, thirty-five of sa.id installmen~sbeing unpaid;

6 The qualified eleotors of said territory hereinafter
7 mentioned are directed to vote upon such question as follows: If
8 an eleotor sha.ll stamp a. oro se (x) in the voting square after the
9 printed word .yes., the vote of said elector sha.ll be counted in
10 favor of the annexation of the territory hereinafter mentioned,
11 to the city of San Bernardino; and if an elector shall stamp a
12 oross (x) in the square after the prin ted word "No" J the vo te of
13 said elector shall be counted against said annexation.
14 SECTION THREE: Said specia.l election sha.ll be conduct-
15 ed by a board of election consisting of two judges and one :inspecb:r.

SECTION FOUR: At said special election, the pOlls
shall be opened at six 0' c lock on the morning of the da.y of said
election, and must be kept open until seven o'olock on the af-
ternoon of the same day, at which time the polls shall be closed.
That for the purpose of said election, said territory hereinafter
described shall consist of one elec tion prec inct, to be desig-

SECTION SIX: The Mayor a.nd Common Council hereby
find, determine and declare that the territory herein describ-
ed, which is propo sed to be annexed to the City of San Bernar-
dino, is contiguous to said municipality.
SECTION SEVEN: The City Clerk shall cause this Or-
