ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 2811 ENTITLED IN PART "AN ORDINANCE . . . IMPOSING A TRANSIENT
3 OCCUPANCY TAX" ; AND AMENDING THE DEFINITION OF HOTEL.
THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
4 DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :

SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 2811 Section Two Subsection (b)

7 is amended to read as follows :
8 " (b) Hotel. "Hotel" means any structure, or any portion
9 of any structure, which is occupied or intended or designed for
IO occupancy by transients for dwelling, lodging or sleeping pur-
II poses, and includes any hotel , inn, tourist home or house, motel,
12 studio hotel , bachelor hotel , lodging house, roominq house ,
13 apartment house , dormitory, public or private club, mobile home
or house trailer located outside a mobilehome park for occupancy
14
IS on a transient basis for a period of 30 days or less unless the
16 occupant is an employee of the owner or operator of the mobile
home or trailer, or other similar structure or portion thereof. "
