Per Diem Veterinarians Join the Animal Services Staff
Due to the extreme shortage of veterinarians in California, the Council
approved exploring the hiring of area vets on a per diem basis.
We are happy to report that we now have three per diem veterinarians
on board with two more currently undergoing background checks.
This will significantly help our spay/neuter backlog and provide
additional care for the animals housed at the Shelter.
