Subject: Correction for:
Item No. 15 Approve Memoranda of Understanding and
Compensation and Benefits Plan with Bargaining Groups (All
Wards)
Correction to Item No. 15
The City Manager has requested a correction to the Recommendation for Agenda Item
#15 on the City Council Agenda for the meeting of July 15, 2025. This correction will also
be addressed in public by the City Manager at the meeting.
Resolution No. 2025-336 currently reads:
SECTION 4. The City Manager is authorized to implement the terms and conditions of
the resolution for Management/Confidential employees effective July 1, 2020 through
June 30, 2025.
The request is to approve the following:

June 30, 2028.
Middle Management MOU currently reads:
D. FLSA: Article Ill, Section 6 A, shall not apply to the following positions that are eligible

to receive overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA): Dispatcher Supervisor;
Traffic Signals & Lighting Supervisor; Police Records Supervisors; Athletic Field
Maintenance Specialist; Parks Maintenance Supervisor; Associate Engineer/Traffic;
Construction Manager; Maintenance Supervisor/Streets Operation & Maintenance;
Maintenance Supervisor/Right of Way Crew; Forensics Supervisor.
The request is to approve the following:

3. Employees who are hired into this unit after July 1 of the fiscal year shall receive a
prorated number of administrative leave hours based on their hire date. For example, a
new employee hired on January 1 of that fiscal year shall receive forty (20) ho urs of
administrative leave.
The request is to approve the following:
