HOME OCCUPATION EXEMPTION FORM
This exemption form is required in order to obtain a Business Registration Certificate for a home occupation. This form is only applicable if
the home occupation meets the criteria contained in Development Code Section 19.54.020, listed in the two categories below. If a home
occupation fails to meet all or part of any of the criteria listed in I or II below, an exemption cannot be granted and a home occupation
permit application shall be filed.
Check I or II, whichever applies:fl] I. In the conduct of my home occupation business:
1. There will be no signage at the home address
2. There will be no building materials stored at the home address
3.No manufacturing, welding, or repairs will take place at the home address
4.In the course of doing business, no employees or customers will appear at the home address to transact businessD II. My home occupation involves an in-home educational activity such as music lessons, academic tutoring, or religious
instruction. There will be no more than S students present in my home at any one time. I have received a copy of
Development Code Chapter 19.54, including the home occupation operating standards contained in 19.54.030. I have read
and understand these operating standards and my home occupation will comply with al applicable standards contained
within that section.
