Fireworks – Agenda item #21
Yes, we support a ban on all personal fireworks.
Many Fire personnel, Police personnel, veterans and animal welfare supporters
support a ban.
The vast majority of non-profits do not sell fireworks to raise money.
Community safety, debris clean-up, the city’s fiscal loss, and the continuous
bad behavior of people who disregard current laws and use “safe and sane”
fireworks above 30th street are strong supporting evidence to simply ban all
fireworks. It is time.
