Hello,
In regards to establishing paving priorities I would like to highlight an incident from last year.
In the late spring of 2025, the very small cul-de-sacs of Summit crest Court and Ridgecrest Court were paved.
Though the streets had never been repaved, there are other streets in worse condition. These cul de sacs are so small
that there are only eight houses on each.
The main street leading to them is Bond Street, which is in very bad condition and definitely needed repaving more
than the other 2. Now that the small cul-de-sacs are paved, there is a stark contrast between them and Bond Street. I
believe these streets were only paved because it could be reported that 2 entire streets were paved, inflating the
perception of work that had been done for paving. This practice is very deceptive.
I appreciate that the city is interested in establishing proper procedures to sustain street repaving. To reduce the stark
contrast between these neighboring streets and to bring much needed repairs, can Bond Street be prioritized for
repavement this year?
Thank you,
Frank Becerra.
