You are going the wrong way as a city! You are going backwards with your vote to get rid of an elected mayor. Because the cities that don't have elected mayors are more corrupt and small like lake Elsinore and it's just a participation trophy not even a mayor at that point. What you need to do is get a vote to get rid of the city manager system (which they are overpaid) and get a stronger mayor city where that mayor and city council actually runs the city not some admin and buerreucrats. That's what you need to do, that's the next step. That's the problem is every city council is controlled by the city manager and it's almost pointless even having you guys because you only listen to to what the city manager and city attorney says. That's my advice and the people want an elected mayor. You are a city of over 200k people and should have an elected mayor and a strong mayor city. The problem with the inland empire is all these cities are still run like they were 30 years ago when they had half the population. You are going the wrong way and need to be the first inland empire city to make a strong mayor city or a mayor council run city. It would help the region and city and get rid of corruption especially considering you are on like your 4th city manager in the last year and even had someone on staff who was convicted of crimes in Menifee area when she worked for one of those cities. People want that they don't want a fake mayor or a non elected mayor. We need a representative government out here not an administrative state. Thank you
