I am extremely disappointed and outraged that the city council is threatening to eliminate our democracy in
the city of San Bernardino. Democracy is what our forefathers envisioned for this country since its inception.
How disgraceful and shameful that this council wants to undermine our rights. As if we didn’t have it hard
enough in this city with the lack of opportunity, pot-hole ridden streets, and an exploding homeless population, the
city council wants to take away our right to determine our leaders.
In a time in our country where our constitution is being disregarded and trampled on, and our neighbors are
being abducted on our streets, the last thing any of us need is having to worry about a city council that is feeding the
fired of fascism!
This decision is detrimental to our residents and our democracy. Do what you are paid to do and serve the
people, not your personal interests. - Gerardo Huante =
