Public input and voter power is essential in all of California. Beginning this proposal in San
Bernardino would only ripple out to neighboring communities. It is curious how short of a
notice this impactful city council meeting was planned or better yet rushed to be held. This is
an attempt to lower voter-turn out and public input. I urge the city council to hold this off by
putting this on November's ballot or to stop this entirely.
