To whom it may concern, my name is Efren Sanchez 20 year san Bernardino resident
today's date 2/02/2026 this removal of constitutional protected election of a mayor is just
a power grab and will not be tolerated by san Bernardino residents, it's bad enough
council members can't even properly maintain there own wards, it's only gotten worse in
my downtown area (ward 1)
This is a power grab straight out of trump playbook spilling into local politics by
eliminating midterms mainly runned by democrats/residents.
A move this dramatic needs to be voted in by the local residents that will be impacted by
this unethical move.
Council members should not be able to run 3 consecutive terms at all especially if they
can't provide positive results.
