Traffic Control Near Yamaava’ Casino
After working in partnership with Yamaava’
Casino and local neighbors for over a year on a
solution, Public Works has installed traffic gates
on Victoria Avenue to prevent casino guests
from cutting through the neighborhood during
peak traffic times.
The Victoria gates, located at Mirada Road and
Citrus Street, will remain open most times.
SBPD and Yamaava’ security will be able to
close the gates before concerts and on weekend
evenings. Staff will remain on site during each
closure to ensure compliance and provide
emergency access, if needed, to first
responders.
