Hello City Council Members,
I am writing my comments to you as a concerned constituent regarding the Akoma Unity Center that I
strongly support for our community. This center provides so much good services for our city and
community. I personally have seen what their services provide to our youths who need the program
services to help their development for their future. One of the members will be graduating from college
in June, who plans on working within our community to pay back what this center has helped them
achieve. I know this student would not have come this far had it not been for the Unity Center. Our city
needs more youths to be reached so they can fully become what they are capable of. I hope our council
continues to support this center for our & our children's future endeavors.
