Deal Councilmembers,
As a long time community member of San Bernardino I want to express that I oppose the plan
to expand surveillance through the $4.1 million deal with Axon LPR license plate reader
systems. These systems raise serious concerns over the quantity of data collection which raise
alarms on San Bernardino residents' privacy and the oversight of protecting our personal and
sensitive information.
I strongly encourage you to say no and find better ways to implement resources into keeping
our communities safe.
