To the City Council,
I am contacting you to express my absolute opposition to the proposed $4.1 million expansion
of the City's surveillance partnership with Axon, LPR license plate reader cameras. These
systems collect and store large amounts of data about residents, raising serious concerns about
privacy, oversight, and long term use of this information. I urge everyone on the City Council
to vote no on this contract and reject further expansion of surveillance infrastructure in San
Bernardino. No one in the community wants this and we expect our elected officials to respect
our true needs and wants if they want our support in future elections. Thank you for taking the
