As a resident of the 2nd Ward, I am writing to express my strong opposition to the proposed
new McDonald’s development in our neighborhood.
Obesity rates in San Bernardino are already at a record high, and our children do not need
increased access to unhealthy fast-food options. Furthermore, there are ongoing community
concerns regarding youth behavior and public disturbances in the area, and adding this
location would likely compound these safety and behavioral issues. While my family and I do
occasionally enjoy McDonald's, we firmly believe that introducing another location here is not
in the best interest of our community's youth or overall well-being.
Thank you for your continued public service and for considering the health and safety of our
neighborhood when reviewing this proposal.
